One More Mission tells the inspiring story of the veterans of the Vietnam War who joined together to try to stop it. With the U.S. once again at war, it’s a film Americans need to see.

But to finish it we need your support—because the Trump administration took away a big chunk of our funding.

Here’s how you can help.

And here’s our update about Trump’s war on Iran.

One More Mission is a documentary film by award-winning filmmaker Edward Gray. It tells the dramatic story of Vietnam Veterans Against the War (VVAW): the first organized group of veterans in American history to demand an end to the war in which they fought.

It’s a story that no previous film has ever fully told.

At its height, VVAW included some 25,000 Vietnam veterans. Because they had served, they were able to connect with Americans whom the student antiwar protesters couldn’t reach.

VVAW played a key role in turning the tide of public opinion against the war and pressuring President Richard Nixon to end it. Its pioneering veteran “rap groups” paved the way for the recognition of post-traumatic stress disorder: PTSD.

But we failed to learn the lesson they tried to teach us. The United States launched wars in Afghanistan and Iraq that took hundreds of thousands of lives.

That’s why today it’s so important to hear the story of the courageous veterans who refused to stay silent about the horror and futility of war.

Thanks to the support of so many people, we’ve been able to complete our filming and most of our editing.

Now we need to raise money to pay for archival film and photo licenses and the final stages of post-production. You can make a tax-deductible contribution here.
